Artist Misson

I live in the moment through my artwork. As an artist, it is important to pause life for a moment and appreciate its beauty and be grateful for everything by fully being present. Now is all we have.

There is inspiration all around us
if we take the time to appreciate it.

My purpose is to bring to life the things I visualize with meaning, emotion, and energy. Keeping an open mind and perspectives to new resolutions and sharing creative beauty with others. Being an artist allows me to express thoughts, feelings, and experiences freely with endless possibilities. Anything that I can imagine can become a reality. This does not only apply to art, but to any life situations. I believe if you want something you can make it happen.

Art is about passion. A need to create something that is inspiring and infinite to everyone. A learning process of self. Asking questions- WHAT? WHY? HOW It is important to do the best you can and always stay true to yourself.

If you have motivation, willpower, and dedication to succeed, it shall be.
As you work for your goals you can achieve anything. It is valuable to learn from mistakes to make yourself better. Even if something goes wrong, it is vital to have an optimistic outlook so that you make the most of your situation and see the good in what it can teach you.

In “Choosing A Mission” from In the Making by Linda Weintraub it states, “Missions can revert time by returning to a past era, slow time by expanding the moment, create time by multiplying perspectives, stop time by creating monuments, or extend time by perpetuating a tradition or anticipating the future.” I find these words relevant to an artistic world because it illustrates all the potentials art has when expressing moments in time.

My purpose as an artist is to be myself and find a style that expresses who I am and what I believe in. Finding my purpose as an artist is like finishing a puzzle. Each day I uncover a new piece. During my journey as an aspiring artist I hope to enlighten, help, and inspire others. Art has something to offer for everyone whether it is school related, a hobby, or something they do once in a while. Every person has a unique way of expressing him or herself.  Creative Instinct. Art is a reflection of one’s soul and mirror of one’s mind. Art is beneficial for meditation, therapy, and self-expression. I imagine helping others through my artwork. I hope to show others the many benefits it can create.

Learn How To- Be Present

The learning process is all about presence. The energy you give, is the energy you receive. So I ask you this- How do you feel right now? Happy, Sad, Annoyed, Excited, Bored, Focused, Anxious, Curious? It’s our natural human right to feel. How we handle our feelings is ultimately our responsibility. Remember positive or negative, YOU are in control of the feelings that create your life destiny.

Now please- simply pause for a moment.
Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and count to 10.

You are here, present, in this moment. Keep breathing…
In through your nose – out through our mouth. Repeat 3x.
As you breathe, Place one hand on your stomach and the other hand on your chest… Feel your heart and lungs rise up, filling with a gentle air-
Continue to breathe in and out at your own pace. Notice how you are in sync with yourself and the universe. Rest your eyes for a moment as you visualize everything that makes you happy and grateful.

Imagine whirling winds uplifting this positive energy around you.
Breathe in all that you wish to manifest in your life here on Earth.
As you exhale, anything that no longer serves your higher purpose is set free. Release it. Let it be in a healthy way. Heal thy thoughts, Heal thy Soul.
Breathe in, tasting the fresh air cooling your lips and cleansing your soul.

Speak what you desire into existence with the affirmations- I activate my truth. I am exactly where I need to be. I have everything I need to live a happy and successful life. I am present in the process of learning by taking the time to breathe and refresh. I am in tune with my mind, body and soul. I am connected to opportunities that compliment my highest good. I am one with the universe and all creation.
Take a final deep breathe in and out.
